Sep 16, 2014 3:13 AM in response to PetraRennerby PetraRenner,I double-clicked on the VLC and opened it. A file opened and I found my film file. It says the codex is somewhat incorrect but it will play anyway. So I did and it plays so far.

Changing players will not fix a corrupt file.
