my wifi has been intermittent since i updated my mini retina this morning, it shows full bars but pages aren't loading or loading super slow including servers not found messages appearing in safari. speedtest app also stumbled for a few minutes trying to find a test server. Been restarting ipad which inconsistently helps get me back on the network. iOS 8 Also broke an app I use for controlling music software so bugs are a barking and I know iOS and App Updates will be lining up for download for days to come too regain out lost functionality.

II'm having the same issue with my iPad air. I've tried hard reboot. Reset all network settings. nothing. Everything else in house is fine including the 4 iPhone 5s(s) that were updated to iOS 8. Any solutions yet?

After updating my iPhone 4s that worked absolutely fine, i set about my iPAD 2,

took forever for the request made icon change to down loading, then installing. Once completed i had severe connection issues, Safari not finding servers, iOS telling me my password was incorrect so real problems, i could not even populate the BBC news app it just stuck as did Ebay, Amazon, Maplin etc Apps...

Not one to panic but terrified because i'm off on holiday for a week to Spain on Saturday, i use my iPad to remote my PC and remote assistance to systems i fit, and i have several hundred pages in Notes which i use as 'sticky's'.so do i need this like a hole in the head?

tried several reboots, eventually last resort before defaulting and clearing it out, and restoring, fearing loosing those precious notes (not certain they were all backed up), I reset my network settings (which wipes all stored login details for various sites, resets WiFi details etc),

To my Massive relief it cured all the connection problems i was having, so for some reason something must have corrupted.

you need to know what details you used on each site you use.

    suggest you all try it

Other suggestion is you do need a lot of spare memory space, so park large files onto PC in alternative cloud storage, then delete from your device. You can restore deleted apps afik no are charged again, so delete those your not really using making sure you keep the data safe.

    hope it helps

Having the same issue with wifi on my iPad Mini w Retina.  My iPhone 5 wifi is fine with iOS 8. Resetting network settings on the iPad may work. That happened when I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7 and the reset of the network settings was the cure then. Will try that when home.

Count me as another. Try to connect to something and it's just spin spin spin. Sometimes it eventually downloads, sometimes it leaves me with a blank screen or timeout. I've "forgotten" and reattached wifi, but no change.

Try checking if Bluetooth is on. I had this same issue and I noticed that WiFi and BT were both on my iPad Air. Once I turned BT off, the issues with Safari page loads (or other internet access issues) were fixed.

Not sure if that actually did anything 'real' but if it did, Apple definitely have a bug there.

Hope this helps and keep us posted!

Actually I stand corrected - this is still NOT working correctly. There is a larger issue at bay... :-(

As the internet trafic is over WiFi, it might be worth trying to delete the WiFi settings then re-entering the key.

another membersays bluetooth being on with WiFi had an influence, switching off bluetooth cleared it for him. so imho wellworth switching that off see if it sorts it, if not try WiFi key refresh before going the whoe hog.

as an electronics engineer by trade, my logic dictates nothing was changed so neither should affect, i also know where binary codes are concerned, corruptions can occur during reconfigurations fir a minor reason, static electricity strike as example

not seen reports this issue happens on any phones - yet, as said my ip4s was absolutely fine although it took its time - the poor old thing.

    H Alan,

I'll try that but reading some other posts on these boards, this may be something to do with the actual iOS update and iPads. I'll try to delete and re-enable that device and see if it helps. I'll post back what happens.

    Cheers

    please do Rudy,

i think we are all fishing in the dark without the facility to read the fault codes and so on, be big cap feather if we were the first to bring out a solid work around

Since the i reset network settings and put my WiFi key back in everything has worked super fine so far, i'd say even loading pages faster than before, but that could also have been part of an underlying issue - don't you just hate compulsive analytics - lol!

just realised, all the WiFi keys i had have now been deleted, a major pain as there must have been hundreds stored where i go on clients and use their networks .

i will have to look for an app that can back these WiFi keys up, or start logging them in the contacts info.

    Alan
