How do you know they don't care to resolve it? It just went live less than 24 hours ago. Did you give feedback at www.apple.com/feedback?

If you had bothered to click on the link I provided you will see how several people in that thread have been told that. And sure, I'll send them feedback, lol, I'm sure they will get right on that....

Sorry, I can't leave feedback. They haven't bothered to update their site to reflect familyshare or iOS8 yet...

Sep 18, 2014 6:41 AM in response to TJBUSMC1973by laurentfrommontreuil,I'm agree we can't say that they don't care.
I had a call with a technical person few minutes ago.
She's going to send all the information to apple's engineer as this problem is not common.
I'm going to send a feedback.

Sep 18, 2014 6:44 AM in response to richard3by fdsafasdfsdafdasfdafdfdasfdasfdsa,Richard, that is an amazing idea. If only all of us in that thread hadn't already done that.... Do people read anything anymore??

Sep 18, 2014 6:49 AM in response to fdsafasdfsdafdasfdafdfdasfdasfdsaby richard3,Contacting Apple Support and leaving product feedback are two completely different things. I contacted Apple Support by telephone when I had a serious problem with my iCloud account, and they resolved it within several days.

Sep 18, 2014 6:53 AM in response to richard3by fdsafasdfsdafdasfdafdfdasfdasfdsa,Right, so, let me help you get up to speed here.
This isn't a bug.
This isn't anything apple considers a problem.
They intentionally incorporated this into familysharing.
They do not wish to help anyone out who has been banned for a year as they are saying that's how we designed it.
See the difference? You had a problem because something wasn't working. We are banned because something apple implemented IS working. What do you suggest they fix richard? They are ok banning us for a year. Support says so and agrees with the ban.
Hopefully you can see the difference now between a bug/problem and an intended feature. I know it's tough, but if you read this post a couple of times I'm sure you'll get it.

Sep 18, 2014 7:05 AM in response to laurentfrommontreuilby Strong ARM,I've got the same thing happening on my end. Both my husband and I created the family share. He did it before i updated last night and sent me an invite which I never got. I did it this morning after I updated and sent an invite to him, which he accepted. than 30 seconds later I get an email saying he turned off Family share and I asked him if he did and he said NO. then he's told he has to wait 364 days to get back into it? so now he's calling apple care, he's being passed up to the upper tiers of support as this is not a single person issue but a big issue apparently. something tells me we get a bug fix in a few weeks.

Sep 18, 2014 7:44 AM in response to fdsafasdfsdafdasfdafdfdasfdasfdsaby richard3,I think they probably had the ability to remove your ban, but they told you otherwise due to your rude attitude.
If this is a widespread problem, then I guarantee you Apple will offer to remove the bans in the near future.

Apple does consider it a problem, otherwise they wouldn't be working on a fix. And yeah, they are working on a fix by investigating the issue.
You're just impatient and cranky. Go have a cookie, you'll feel better.
And how did you ever get along without Family Sharing before iOS 8 came out?

This isn't a bug, or a problem, this is a feature of family share. It's working as designed. How they intended it to work. There is nothing broken for them to fix. I hope that clears the issue up a bit for you.
How did I get a long before it came along? The exact same way I'm getting along now since I can't use it. What kind of rhetorical question is that?
How did you get a long before you owned a Lamborghini? Oh, you don't own one? Oh, so you're still just getting along with out it then. Gotcha.

Where's your documentation?
