Sep 18, 2014 7:44 PM in response to anustartby geofflewis,I Have a 2008 BMW 535 and a PLANTRONICS headset. Both worked perfectly via Bluetooth before upgrading to iOS 8. Now the phone sees the car and the headset (And vice versa but there is silence when I place a call. If I switch over to iPhone it picks up the audio. I have tried rebooting, re pairing and resetting network connections. Nothing helps.

Sep 18, 2014 7:49 PM in response to dsjankelowby manatarms2032,I drive a PriusC and had the same issue. What seemed to help me was going into the Paired Devices section of my car's settings and only allowing the car to use my phone. I had to turn off music and notifications. After that, the issue hasn't popped up again.
I hope this helps.

Sep 18, 2014 8:00 PM in response to dsjankelowby ieaus,I have the same issue with my 2013 Camry Atara S. Bluetooth connectivity worked perfectly till I upgraded my iPhone 5 to iOS 8.
Phone connects to the car kit, but as soon as it connects the car indicates and incoming call and I can't stop that unless I try to make a call though the phone. After all that hassle, when I get the phone connected there's no audio via the car kit.
I really hope apple will address this issue ASAP as this is affecting so many car makes and models.

Sep 18, 2014 8:54 PM in response to famofiveby Griff1973,Yes, we attempted this on both cars. in the case of my Qashqai it paired ok but I am still unable to make a call. In the case of my partner's Mini the phone could not connect to the car's Bluetooth system. This was the same behaviour as before.

Sep 19, 2014 12:50 AM in response to dsjankelowby Lucas BBBB,★HelpfuliPhone 5s + Audi A1 MMI was working perfectly good on iOS 7 and since I've upgraded to iOS 8 I can pair the phone, but when listening to a media, even if the iPhone is correctly set as a source, the sound doesnt come out from the car audio system but from the iphone speaker.
I didn't try a phone call so I don't know if this function is still work
Message to Apple developers: the bluetooth pairing works, but the phone works as if there's no active pairing.
We thank you for fixing that !
