Q: stopping playback line at end of song.

I'm trying to remember how to stop the playback line at the end of a song.  Did it before, but can't remember.  Looked in the manual, could not find it.

When the song is over the playback line keeps moving until I hit the space bar.  I want it to stop right after the song ends.  I hope I explained myself properly.

Make sure to change your project end setting (which defaults to 130 bars) to match the end of your song. The easiest way to do this is by double-clicking on the Project End setting beneath the Tempo on the Transport Bar. Type in the measure where your song ends and hit enter. Now playback will stop at the end of your song.

    By the way.  How did you take a picture of the Transport Bar and paste is here?

    You're welcome.


    To do a screen grab press Command+Shift+4, then click and drag with your mouse to capture the image you want and it will save a .png file to your desktop. When you post a message just click on the camera icon and select your screen grab.


    If you want to get fancy, you can grab an entire window by hitting the Spacebar and clicking with your mouse after pressing Command+Shift+4. This will not only capture the entire window but will also add a nice drop shadow:
