Sep 20, 2014 11:22 PM in response to danielacleonby ThinkerGuyApps,IPad4 here. Since the upgrade pretty much everything crashes and resets the entire iPad. I did a full on wipe and restore. Started from scratch. Same crap. Is this a joke? I'm wondering if it's my hardware. this can't be normal.

Sep 21, 2014 6:25 AM in response to Techno_funkyby Anamne5ia,Okay! Rather than just sit around getting frustrated with the problem (it's happened three times for me now), I decided to try changing something.
I switched off the auto-brightness feature for the backlight, so see if it was some kind of random power glitch. My brightness is somewhere above 40%.
I've used my 128Gb iPad Air a fair bit today, but no reset. Does anyone else want to try this out?

Sep 21, 2014 10:50 AM in response to Techno_funkyby cjs77,I got tired of the BSOD so I rolled back to iOS 7.1.2.
In case anyone want to do it here's a link. Note if you didn't do a backup while you had ios7 your iPad will be reset completely as new. That was my case but I rather use a fresh ios7.1.2 that works than a buggy ios8.
In the past I also had the same issue with Apple TV updates... been using firmware 5.3 which is the only one that works flawlessly.
