Can you post the output of the fdisk and the dd as mentioned in the other thread?

I started using testdisk and I got this when trying to dig into MS Data:

    Disk /dev/disk0 - 750 GB / 698 GiB - 1465149168 sectors (RO)

    The harddisk (750 GB / 698 GiB) seems too small! (< 949 GB / 884 GiB)

Check the harddisk size: HD jumpers settings, BIOS detection...

The following partitions can't be recovered:

Partition               Start        End    Size in sectors

    >  MS Data               1465147391 1853939703  388792313

    1. Have you checked any other MS Data entries for familiar files? The current NTFS header is corrupt.

    2. Download GPT Fdisk from SourceForge.

    3. Delete GPT#4 and add it with these start/size. Run dd to check NTFS header.

    4. Re-create Hybrid MBR using Gdisk and 'r' (Recovery...) and 'h' (Hybrid MBR) and add 2 3 4 partitions (let Gdisk automatically include EFI) and mark 4 as bootable.

    5. Reboot.

         a. Confirm OSX works.

         b. Confirm that Bootcamp shows up in Finder.

         c. Confirm that you can see files in Bootcamp volume.

         d. Confirm that Bootcamp shows up in Startup Disk.

         e. Switch to Windows.

         f. You may need Windows Startup repair, if you see a black screen. Please see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392 for details on W7 or use W8 install

         media to repair startup.

    1.  The other two MS Data entries gave me the same response:  Can't open filesystem.  Filesystem seems damaged.

    3.  Which start/size numbers?

This is where you saw familiar files.

    MS Data               1076355072 1465147384  388792313

    The size is 388792313

    The start is 1076355072

I did everything from 1-4, however, on reboot, the bootcamp partition still does not show in finder, startup disk, or disk utility (it still shows as disk 0s4 and grayed out).

    Any thoughts?

Can you post the output of

    sudo dd if=/dev/rdisk0s4 count=1 2>/dev/null | hexdump -C

This checks if the NTFS header is intact. If the native Apple NTFS driver cannot find the header, it will not mount the volume and nothing will show up in Finder.
