Q: iPhone 5S screen starts flickering from edges after restarting the device suddenly?

I just installed iOS 8 yesterday in my device (iPhone 5S - GSM) using iTunes app on Mac. It was working fine untill today when I switched off the device and restarted it again it starts flickering from edges slowly. Its best visible when you do pull to search and blurry background comes. Is anybody know what might be the issue?

    Hey there kidsid,

It sounds like you are seeing some flickering around the edge of the screen on your phone after updating to iOS 8. I would start by resetting the phone:

Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

    Then test the issue again.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

    All the very best,

    Sterling

HI there, I recently started seeing this issue on my 5S on 7.1.2, I updated to 8.1 and it still happens. However it only happens if I reset my phone, which I have to due to it freezing a lot. I called Apple support and it is getting taken in for repair/replacement.
