Dec 17, 2012 4:39 PM in response to pnfigaroaby Fofer,Yes. 6.0.1 to be exact. I got "Reminders" to appear as a syncable component in the Google/Exchange setup on iOS, but with brief testing couldn't actually get Reminders to sync this way between iPhone/iPad/Mac. And so, as I said, I'm just going to revert to syncing Reminders via iCloud instead. Especially because this Exchange/ActiveSync method for syncing free Google accounts is going away in 2013 anyway.

Jan 22, 2013 3:55 AM in response to kvdvby jaregi,It's a pity but Reminders on OS X does not sync with Google Tasks (1). This makes it almost useless since there is no easy way to access your todos with Google online (you have to use iCloud) or view your data via other devices like an Android smartphone.

Jul 26, 2013 6:39 PM in response to kvdvby metafedora,I have created a service that allows you to sync your iOS Reminders with Gmail Tasks.
It is currently free and I am accepting requests for beta access at Tasket.mobi -
Aug 31, 2013 4:52 AM in response to kvdvby dk379,few comments:
1) you can setup google account multiple times - for contacts (as CardDAV), calendar (as CalDAV), and Gmail.
this is for iOS - on MacOS (ML), options are somewhat different. I had to use all three on my new iPod,
as Exchange service was discontinued by Google for personal accounts (I think it is still available for business),
it is now not possible to use it on new devices; old ones continue to work.
2) if you want Apple reminders you have to create iCloud account; no need for Apple @icloud.com email.
only Notes would require some kind of email - GMail also works for that. I ignore Notes (and use Evernote).
3) Google reminders (aka Tasks) do not work for me; since recent Gmail UI changes I cannot even find them anymore. Perhaps would work if you set up them with CalDAV account. Did anyone try it?

Sep 5, 2013 4:47 AM in response to kvdvby Mirko kid,I have managed to sync my notes to gmail and it works. Thing is I can´t remember exactly how i did it. About tasks I started using gtasks on the iphone and when I´m on the lapptop I just rant.
I will look it up exactly but I think it had something to do with setting notes separately as carddav or something...
I find google support very helpful as it instructs on how to set up most of these ...

This is the solution. Tasket fist talks to google and sync your tasks to reminders! What a good solution.
I use
icloud : notes, contacts, safari, photos, documents
google : mail, tasks, calendars
Hope this helps everyone. I was waiting for this for a loooooong time!

This does not work with 10.9 (Mavericks), as it syncs with the reminder system in Calendar, not the new Reminders.app.

Are you using it successfully with OS X 10.9? The developer talks about iOS support, but not OS X. I installed it but it won't sync for me in 10.9 (I get no error messages, just silent failure).

Sep 23, 2014 5:32 AM in response to dwithdby joepring,As noted above, after trying everything I finally found Tasket. It works perfectly. you have to set up another mail account as an exchange account and sync it to only sync reminders. The one thing to note is that one of the diagrams in the instructions for setting up in iOS is wrong, it shows filling in the domain field rather than the server field. the server should go in the server field and leave the domain field blank.
