Until you can tell us more about the details, try to set up the phone as new device, as explained in this article:

iOS: How to back up your data and set up your device as a new device

To rule out a software issue, try not to use the backup afterwards the first time you set it up. If it works after that, use the latest backup to restore from.

    Hi,

Thank you for your kind respond. I don't have a problem with use the back for pictures and contact details. But certain text messages & i messages I need to be as it is because for my certain business purpose I need them to saved in my inbox till I delete it by self. Apart from that do I have to download all the applications I have downloaded and do I have to reinstall my i cloud details and certain personal details back again in my settings.

    Thank you,

These are few issues I'm sorry I couldn't include in my previous email.

    1) when I'm in Internet suddenly the page closing.

        Eg. Facebook, Google & Etc.

    2) Battery life time really short. It goes off so fast and when I reached 3% or 4% phone goes off.

    3) internet is really slow compare iOS operating system I used before.

    4) take long time to download or upload videos from VIBER & what's app

    5) some times I can't watch videos it's goes totally black back ground, once I close the page once or twice and start watching again can watch it or may some times sound is not coming.

Eg. I have downloaded Manchester United club application I can watch the videos in it but no sounds what so ever.

    6) Main problem is most of the time I can't hear other end calling people so I need to cut the line off and recall them again if it's a incoming call for me to call them back cost me and charge from my network.

Above mention problems are few main problems but there are few more which I can't remember right now. But according to instructions I will do that and keep you posted.

    Thank you.

Restoring from the backup you made before you set up the new phone will transfer all settings and other data into the new iOS8.

If you restored from an iCloud backup, check this article:

Setting it up as new device without using the latest backup would be a good starting point to rule out a software issue.

Thank you for your kind reply. But I didn't get a clear answer for the following listed details,

    1) once I backup my all data, pictures, contact details & etc., what's happening with my inbox text messages are they getting deleted automatically.

    2) what's happening to the applications which I have downloaded already & are they getting deleted?

    3) once your sending answers to this above mentioned questions please advice me how to do it or the following way is it correct.,

Go to - settings - General - Reset - Reset all settings

    Thank you,

    Lakmal.

First of all, make sure you have chosen the right backup method for you. Clicking on the blue text link will open an Apple help article:

Choosing an iOS backup method (Should I use iTunes or iCloud to back up my iOS device?)

Backing up your device will not delete any data from the phone, your mail will not be deleted in the inbox.

You can set up options for mail in Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars/Accounts/

The backup only saves the App data and settings, but you can download bought apps for free again. Check this article about the content of the backup:

    iTunes: About iOS backups

and this one about the purchases: Downloading past purchases

Follow the steps mentioned in this article to set up your device as new and restore from the latest backup.

That way you can rule out damaged iOS files as a reason for the problems.

iOS: How to back up your data and set up your device as a new device

If your problems persist, set it up again, this time without the backup, in case the backup contained damaged files. If you are still having issues with the phone after that, your device could have a hardware problem and needs to be checked by Apple.
