Sep 25, 2014 11:01 AM in response to JoseBatby alex_h1,Hello JoseBat,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Please make sure you are following the steps below to download content purchased from a Family Member.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, use these steps to view and download your family member's content:
- Open the store app that you want to download content from, and go to the purchased page:
- App Store: Tap Updates > Purchased.
- iTunes Store: Tap More > Purchased.
- iBooks: Tap Purchased.
- Tap the family member's name to see their content. Learn what to do if you don’t see any content or can’t tap your family member.

- To download an item, tap the cloud
icon next to it.
On your Apple TV, select Movies > Purchased > Family Sharing, then select your family member to see their content. You can access shared movies and TV shows on Apple TV, but not music.
Sharing purchased content with Family Sharing
Take care,
Alex H.

Sep 25, 2014 4:42 PM in response to alex_h1by theveganasana,I don't know about JoseBat, but I am following the exact process you outline, Alex, and I still get this message for some apps. Most of them are free apps, like Tumblr, Instagram, and Kindle.
