Q: How to use passbook???

I have an iPhone 5, iOS 8.  I just added my first App to passbook - Alaska Air.  I downloaded my boarding pass to passbook.

When I open Passbook I get the intro screen - Find Apps for Passbook.  The only way I can access my boarding pass is to go the the Apps for Passbook and open the Alaska Air App.

Surely this is not the way it is supposed to work.  What am I doing wrong?
