Q: Group Messaging

So, I've been in charge for sending out group messages for a while, and it's literally a struggle every time.

I don't know if it's an iPhone thing or just my phone being dumb, but every time I try to create a group message, it doesn't work. I'm guessing because some people have iPhones and some have Androids.

I have to send the same message to 20+ people, and I'm tired of typing in their name, then copy/paste-ing the message into the box and sending. (Mind you, I have to do this individually all those 20+ times; and there are so many people that sometimes I forget to send them the message)

Is there a way I can make a group message (of iPhones and Androids) or do I still have to continue copying and pasting?

iPhone 5, iOS 8

You should be able to have multiple addressees on a single message even if it is going to a mix of iPhones and Androids or other.

If the message cannot be sent as a group message because one of the addressees doesn't have group messaging then it should automatically go out as individual texts to everyone.

Also note that there is a difference between a group message and a message sent to multiple people. With the group message, a reply from anyone will go to everyone.

The following has some of the above and more that may help: Send a group message with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
