Q: Anyones health kit app stop working?

I went to bed last night and everything was tracking fine between my Healthkit app and myfitnesspal app. I had 5 or 6 things pinned to my dashboard. I woke up and it is all gone.. Nothing is pinned to my dashboard and when I swipe to put it on my dashboard and press back it still isn't there and I go back in and it is switched off. I click on the Show all data and it does the spiny thinking icon forever and won't populate. But my steps I think are still being calculated in myfitnesspal. I have killed all open apps, soft restart, hard restart and nothing has fixed it. I have the iPhone 6 64gb ATT with the os and all apps updated.

iPhone 6, iOS 8

I have had trouble with the health app since I updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 8.0.2. Before the upgrade it was happily collecting data on steps, distance and flights and displaying it on the dashboard. Now it has stopped collecting data. The information already collected is still displayed on the dashboard but nothing since the operating system upgrade.

Same problem here as well. My Health app was tracking my steps and distance traveled just fine on my iPhone 5s. As soon as I switched to iPhone 6 the health app hasn't recorded any data, and the steps / distance traveled / flights climbed cards automatically unpin themselves from my dashboard. The data that was on my iPhone 5s was not transferred over to my 6 either (I believe it's supposed to?).

This has all been happening with iOS 8.0.0 and 8.0.2 on the iPhone 6.

I also reset my phone's settings as suggested in this thread My Health app on my iPhone 6 Plus isn't tracking anything. but that hasn't fixed the problem for me.

I woke up this morning with the same problem. Everything was on the dash board when I went to sleep. I woke up and nothing is on the dash board this morning. All of my information just vanished overnight while I was sleeping. All of my data is gone... My app that I use as a source is still in the health app as the source, that was all that stayed the same.

I am using the iPhone 5 Model #ME310LL/A, RUNNING IOS 8.0.2.

The same problem here - had data recorded in Health app and fed from MyFitnessPal and recorded by iPhone itself and today all was wiped out - all data, setup, data feeds I am using iPhone 6 running iOS 8.0.2.

My Health App hasn't been working since I upgraded to the iPhone 6, and even after 8.0.2 release my health app isn't tracking anything nor is it keeping any charts pinned.  If I close the app I lose any adjustments made to the app.

Similar problems here with an iPhone 6 and 8.0.2. But I will add that MyFitnessPal is pulling step counts from the system just fine and adjusting my calories. I think it's just the Health app itself that's messed up.

Same problem here. I've got 8.0.2 and Health has lost all my data. The dashboard is suddenly empty and going into any category's data points just hangs with a throbber forever going around.

I'm seeing the same thing since going to 8.0.2. And My Fitness Pal is also not picking up steps.

Yeah. Myfitnesspal was picking up my steps. Today it is not. I also noticed that there was a difference in the amount of steps the health app said I had and what myfitnesspal said I had when all was working.

Health kit has completely stopped working a few days after installing iOS 8.0.2 on my iPhone 6 plus. All data seems to be wiped from HealthKit and it no longer works. I cannot add anything to the dashboard. The app is useless. Please fix the bug Apple. I was enjoying it, while it worked for a limited period.

Same problem as well with the iPhone 6, all of the dashboard data is gone and will not populate MyFitnessPal data, even though MyFitnessPal does track my steps and other data.  I also noticed that the "Show on dashboard" switch doesn't stay on and the dashboard stays empty.

I had the same problem today did a hard reset and all is back. Press and hold the power and him keys together. Keep held until the phone has gone black, the apple logo has appeared and disappeared again. Then let go of the buttons and turn the phone on. Hope this helps for the rest of you.

I did that already before posting the issue, (I should have mentioned it) and it still doesn't work
