Sep 18, 2014 5:38 AM in response to schmidi-gerby léonie,That is a very good question. Journals can only be deleted in iPhoto on the device that published the Journal.
iPhoto for iOS (iPad): Share your web journal as a webpage
To delete your journal webpage from iCloud, tap
and tap to turn off Publish to iCloud. This removes only your journal webpage; your journal is still on your device.Give Apple support a call. I doubt that uninstalling if will delete the Journal, but you try that after you moved all photos to Photos and backed up your device. Uninstalling iPhoto will delete all app data.

Sep 29, 2014 3:49 AM in response to schmidi-gerby Cliff Richards,Same problem here, no solution so far. A year ago I sent feedback to Apple that I want access to my journals in iPhoto. Now that I updated to iOS 8 I can't manage my journals any longer but the public link is still there -> that's not cool. Deleting the obsolete iPhoto app under iOS 8 doesn't help.
Please bring back Journals.

Sep 29, 2014 4:20 AM in response to léonieby Cliff Richards,I did. I sent it to the Feedback formulas for iPhone and iPhoto. I haven't yet activated iCloud Drive. Maybe you can find your files there?

Don't activate iCloud Drive, unless you have upgraded to MacOS X 10.10 Yosemite on your Macs. Enabling iCloud Drive will disable documents in the cloud and your Mavericks macs will no longer sync with your mobile devices. And this cannot be reverted.
And if you enable "iCloud Photo Library Beta", if it is available in your iOS 8 version, you can no longer sync photos with iTunes and you are stuck, even with Yosemite installed. There will be no way to get the photos from your Mac but Mail or Dropbox, or similar.

Oct 30, 2014 4:50 AM in response to schmidi-gerby iChéri,I have the same problem, before iOS 8 you could delete the web journals from any device you had iphoto installed (even a journal was made on an other device). You could even in the iCloud setup (iOS and Maverick) delete all the iOS iPhoto Datas that are in iCloud.com. Now that all my devices are on iOS 8.1 and 10.10 there is no way anymore to delete all the web Datas (web journals) from iPhoto! You can still delete other datas that are on iCloud like page, numbers, back up, etc. but not the web journals from iPhoto for iOS! Please bring the possibility to do it back!
