Q: iPhoto on IOS 8

i find it arrogant of Apple to just decide to scrap iPhoto for running on IOS 8.  Is iPhoto going to be fixed to run on 8?  I bought iPhoto and iVideo for iPad as I have both on my iMac.  What is really annoying is not being told oh by the way iPhoto won't work anymore.  Can I go back to IOS 7?

Sorry, but "No" to both questions.

Apple does not support downgrading the system on mobile devices. There is no safe way to downgrade.

And it is very unlikely that Apple will upgrade iPhoto to run on iOS 8. The migration instructions look very final.

Our only hope is, that Apple will add more advanced features to the Photos.app by providing app extensions, that will replace the missing iPhoto functionality. One of the good things about the new "Photos" is, that it can be easily extended by app extensions and I hope, the developers will make use of this.  http://www.apple.com/ios/developer/
