Q: Gather passbook passes from different publishers in one place?

Hi!

I just got a phone call from i person that asked me if "it's possible to gather passes from different publishers in one place, for example a webpage or app?".

I didn't have a 100% good answer so i turn to you guys

Is it possible go gather lets say two passes from different airlines, one pass from a train company and one for the bus, on a webpage or app, for the user to download to his/her passbook? An great way for lets say an travel agency to distribute passbook passes to its customers.

I ofcouse assume the airline, bus and train company must offer passbook passes from their own webpage or app for this to even be remotely possible?

Thanks!

Jon

    Yes.

They are gathered together in Passbook app.

Indeed they are, but for them to get there you have to download them from somewhere.

If i own a travel agency and sell a ticket to a AA flight and a bus ticket, i would like my customer to be able to open my agencies app or webpage to get to all the passes in one place. Not go to every individual company and download the pass.

    Get what I'm going at?

Put them in one email and send them to the customer..

Thanks Chris, that is one way of doing it i guess. Althou that would require the booking page to have a "Add to passbook" button. One that i never seen on a webpage built for a computer before. And, thats not in any way automated, i require a lot of time consuming work.

But, to be able to e-mail the pass as a stand alone file is of couse helpful since it throws some light on the issue of distributing the passes online.

    Thanks!
