Sep 29, 2014 8:26 PM in response to Shabbypink123by MarknMikel,I already had my reduce motion on! So what that means is, if you already had it on or off all these issues would have arisen regardless, and turning them off didn't help!
Apple needs to address this real fast as a product that cost me $800 is a dud now!

Sep 30, 2014 4:09 AM in response to gtwscwby Shabbypink123,I guess I am going to make a formal complaint. I don't see any other avenues. I've researched downgrading to iOS 7, but it appears the window to do this is very small, and can no longer be done. I found this link in another part of the forum. http://www.apple.com/feedback/

Sep 30, 2014 1:23 PM in response to ladylarchby msmaron,iOS 8 Rollbacks Shut Down, Apple Stops Signing iOS 7.1.2
If you made the move to iOS 8 but now are suffering from upgrader remorse, you're out of luck because Apple has stopped signing iOS 7.1.2. In muggle speak that means Apple won't let you downgrade from iOS 8 to iOS 7.1.2 any more.
Apple drops iOS 7.1.2 installation on devices for support iOS 8Apple digitally signs operating system versions to ensure customers aren't tricked into installing software that isn't legit, which is good for security and — hopefully — stability. The downside is that once Apple stops signing an OS version, there isn't an option for installing it any more outside of the jailbreak community.
iOS 8 was released about a week and a half ago, and iOS 7.1.2 remained an option for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users who wanted to roll back, which was handy for anyone that wasn't pleased with the new operating system version.
Following the botched release of iOS 8.0.1 that disabled cell phone radios and Touch ID sensors in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Apple left iOS 7.1.2 as an installation option. Now that iOS 8.0.2 is out and seems to be free of iPhone crippling bugs, Apple decided it was time to put iOS 7.1.2 to rest.
Dropping support for previous iOS installation is normal and typically happens only a couple days after the new version is released. Apple waited longer than usual this time, which may have been a hint that the company was still seeing a high number of iOS 7.1.2 installs following iOS 8's release.
If you're using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that doesn't support iOS 8, you aren't out of luck. Apple is still signing iOS 7 for older devices such as the iPhone 4 and original iPad.

Apple today released the first beta of iOS 8.1 to registered developers for testing purposes, just a few days after the release of iOS 8.0.2, which fixed a bug introduced with iOS 8.0.1. The beta arrives as build number 12B401.
Apple has also released a new Apple TV beta and Xcode 6.1 beta 3.

iOS 8.1 likely includes several bug fixes for issues in iOS 8, and it also likely includes support for Apple Pay, Apple's mobile payments service that is launching in October.Along with iOS 8.1, Apple is also simultaneously working on iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.3, all of which are expected to add new functionality to the operating system.
iOS 8 has had a rough start, with Apple temporarily removing HealthKit ahead of the launch of iOS 8 and then releasing an unstable iOS 8.0.1 update that disabled the cellular and Touch ID service of many users. Apple released iOS 8.0.2 to fix the issue, but several other problems have come to light, including a bug that causes iCloud Drive documents to be deleted.

Sep 30, 2014 2:07 PM in response to gtwscwby PolSixe,Me too, IOS 8 has turned by Ipad 2 into a bloatware mess. Goes to sleep, hard to turn on from black screen. Safari is is now a hopeless kludge browser. email and notes kick out to home screen. Nothing is better. Any way to revert?
