Oct 1, 2014 1:40 PM in response to almaguer78by Michaeldb,After speaking with an Apple tech supervisor, who was candid that he and colleagues are aware of this problem we agreed for me to do a tow step fix:
First step ,was to via ITunes do a restore ( not restore back up) which will bring back you IP6 to its native beginning as when you took it out of box. After doing this I was asked to check its functionality with Ford's Sync (2014 Escape). I did and it worked perfectly for calls in and out.
Second step was to return my IP6 to a back up. Please don't forget to back up before you do a system restore or you will lose all proprietary data and information. Waiting for my back up store to complete the back to car and see if I still have good news. I'll repost after

Nov 29, 2014 6:57 AM in response to Michaeldbby scorch968,So basically you flashed the latest factory firmware for your iPhone model, and then restored from the latest backup of your phone? This would imply that this was caused by a patch along the way. A couple of questions if you don't mind...
What iphone model / version IOS were you running when you encountered this issue?
What Ford Sync model / version do you have with your 2014 Ford Escape? You can get this information from syncmyride.com after registering your vehicle there.
