Oct 19, 2014 7:06 AM in response to Tigervisionby King_Penguin,I don't have family sharing set up so I can't test/check things. Are you able to do it directly on their device via Settings > iCloud, does that allow you to tap on the id and log in and change them ?

Mar 23, 2015 6:29 PM in response to MrsDowntownby georgekaplin,I have the same issue. I made up Apple ID for my kids before family sharing existed. Now I cant to change them to CHILD Apple ID but I cant. I cant delete the old account so their email address is TRAPPED in the old account. There is NO WAY TO DELETE AND ACCOUNT AND START OVER!

That is not quite true. Just create a new account with a new email address.

Mar 23, 2015 7:00 PM in response to ed2345by georgekaplin,That's the point. You need a new email address. My email address is my name. Or this case, my kids name with my personal domain. I cant just start using a new email address. I need to create a new child AppleID using an email address already associated with an AppleID. (sorry for the caps in last post. Obviously frustrated here!)
