Q: Adding media to Keynote

I was trying to add a movie clip to keynote. First it will only recognize iPhoto. The movie clips are in iTunes.

Second, on my MacBook Air which was where I was trying to do this, it would not import from iTunes nor would iTunes export it.

So I have to go to my iMac where it would import the movie clips from iTunes to iPhoto. now I will have to burn the Keynote, new version to a DVD then connect the external DVD drive to my MacBook Air and put the new version in.

And still I can not use my iPhone remote Keynote to change the slides, I will have to stand next to the computer to change slides.

I am not happy on so many levels.

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

I was trying to add a movie clip to keynote.

Use Finder and drag and drop the file directly onto the slide in Keynote, only QuickTime compatible files can be used.

And still I can not use my iPhone remote Keynote to change the slides

You must be connected to a WiFi network you have admin rights to, a business WiFi will almost certainly not allow you to connect.
