It is a new security feature after the iCloud was compromised for some people. If you are getting this when logging into the Find My iPhone app on the phone, then if you do not log out and set a passcode on the phone, you should not receive this again. As far as I know, and I've not tested this because I do not receive the emails is when you log in on the computer, most people report that if you log in on the same computer again, it will not generate an email. Seems like it might put a cookie on the computer to recognize that you have logged in with that computer before.

Thank you for the response.  i get logged out automatically from the "find my iphone" automatically after a few minutes of non-use.  When I log in again it generates another email.  Is there any setting change I can make to not receive the emails at all?

TThis issue began on Sept 25.  Was that the launch date for the upgrades?

There are no settings to change. Are you referring to getting logged out automatically on a computer, or the phone? I provided you with the only fix there is for the phone. I do not receive an email when logging in on the computer anymore, so as I said, maybe you have cookies turned off for your computer?

The only way to change it for the phone is to put a passcode on the phone. With a passcode on the phone, Find My iPhone will remain logged in and you will not get another email.

It is not a change to the phone, it is a change to the security of Find My iPhone. If you log into Find My iPhone from an iPhone, it will generate the email, unless you do as I stated. Hope that helps.
