Oct 6, 2014 8:48 AM in response to ed2345by gothamdragon,Same problem, changed Preferences as you suggest, even closed and reopened iTunes on my Mac and still no cloud. Where EXACTLY is it supposed to be: beside each track number, next to the album icon?
Bad enough that Apple creeped people out with the push sale, but then to make it hard for those of us who actually want it is even worse. Not covering themselves with glory this time.

Oct 6, 2014 10:44 AM in response to Phil0124by gothamdragon,Mm hmm, I am in the iTunes Store and have clicked on the u2 banner ad and can see the album at top left with "purchased" underneath. The tracks are listed, each with a little "purchased" button where the price normally is. Note please, I am using a Mac not an iPhone. But again I ask, WHERE on this page is the cloud? I have already checked my Library "Purchased" playlist. Not there.

Oct 6, 2014 1:58 PM in response to gothamdragonby Phil0124,The cloud icon should appear in the row for each song where other sings form other albums would say Buy.

Download previous purchases on Mac or PC
Make sure your Mac or PC meets these system requirements:
- iTunes 10.3 or later
You need iTunes 10.6 or later to download previously purchased movies and TV shows. - iTunes account in a country where iTunes in the Cloud is available
iTunes Store
- Open iTunes and go to the iTunes Store.
- Click Purchased in the Quick Links section.

- Select the content type that you want to download (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, or Books).
- Select Not in My Library to view purchased content that isn't on your computer.

- Find the item that you want to download. You can browse using the menu to the left. If you have more than 2,000 songs, you'll see Recent Purchases instead of All Songs or Albums.
- Click the Download
icon next to the item you want to download.
If an item is already in your library, the Download icon won't appear.
- iTunes 10.3 or later

Oct 6, 2014 2:01 PM in response to gothamdragonby gail from maine,Hi gothamdragon,
Some other users have had success with this method:
Sign out of iTunes and open the iTunes Store and find the U2 Album. It should say "Free" on it. Click on it to "purchase" it, and then it will ask for your iTunes ID. Sign in, and it should download directly.
Cheers,
GB
