- log into the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes
- log into it via the 'manage your apple id' button on http://appleid.apple.com
- tap on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on an iOS device and log into the account

The reason i ask is a actually want to set up another iCloud.com address as opposed to the one i already have in use, is that possible?

From Change your Apple ID :
You can change the address of any Apple ID, except an Apple ID that ends with @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com.

Oct 7, 2014 4:42 AM in response to jonpearsonby King_Penguin,You can create a new account, but any content that you downloaded with your existing account will remain tied to that account - so only that account will be able to authorise its content on a new computer, potentially redownload it, and download updates to its apps.
