Q: tag appear as coloured stripe across file name?

Hello..

I'm guessing that tags are a more sophisticated replacement for the old coloured file labels... does anybody know if there's a way to make them appear as a coloured stripe across the whole file name in the finder window, like they used to, instead of a  coloured dot? it's easier for me to see if it's in a stripe.
