Oct 8, 2014 5:07 AM in response to léonieby Lord_Isleworth,No I'm afraid that won't work - because IOS8 now doesn't allow iphoto to open anymore even though it's still there. i right click and can see my library. I plugged my phone into itunes and under photos even checked all the boxes for my photos and it appears some have come across but not all. Any ideas?
I can't unistall and install again because no option to do that I have read...

Have you tried it? When I launch iPhoto on my iPad or iPhone with iOS 8 , it brings up the question if I want to migrate. You just can do anything else but migrating.

Do you have enough storage on your iPhone to accommodate all photos you selected?

Oct 8, 2014 2:50 PM in response to léonieby Lord_Isleworth,Hi - I appreciate you replying twice to me. Can I ask a simple question. In ios8 is the iphoto tab replaced with a photo's tab? that lists all the images much the same as before. My issue is that I can use preview and see that I have 3000 images in the last 12 months and view them. But my issue is that I want to on my mac be able to look at the photo tab and see them all there - I cannot. I would love to know how i can migrate my pics from iphoto to photos. Surely i cannot be the only person in mankind that has not had their images come across after the ios8 upgrade?
