Oct 9, 2014 1:33 PM in response to Carolyn Samitby Mansam888,I've been reading this community support regarding what the iOS 8.02 has done especially to iPads since day 1. As appreciated as it is getting possible remedies from higher level people, when will someone from Apple finally admit there is a serious issue. I am no novice with Apple products having a MacAir, iPhone 6 iPad Air, Apple TV & even the Airport Apple Router & this upgrade has & continues to slow down & disconnect my iPad Air from my wifi (& not just my home wifi).
I have doen ALL the requests & supposedly fixes including complete resets & it still has the problem. THIS IS IMPORTANT for Apple to acknowledge. Why won't they? I find it Impossible that No One from Apple will acknowledge this.
Sorry for this but Frustration has gotten the better of me.

Oct 9, 2014 1:35 PM in response to petermac87by Septugenarian,I Appreciate this is not an Apple support site but can empathise with other users. My iPad mini with retina had been a nightmare since upgrade to iOS 8.0.2 slow and dropping Wi-Fi Regularly. I can only hope Apple monitor this site and are noting the comments, I currently have a mini iPad thst is unreliable and driving me nuts!

Oct 9, 2014 2:02 PM in response to Chicochopsby jtravisl,I posted a reply - critical of the responses of a couple guys and got this there was no profanity, it was a professional criticism :
Hi J Travis Loyd (jtravisl),
We removed your post Re: The IOS 8.2 "upgrade" has ruined my iPad 2 and iPad Air. Will Apple be implementing a fix to the problems- it is the most ridiculous upgrade ever! because it was speculative. We understand wanting to share experiences, but these forums are meant for technical questions that can be answered by the community.

Oct 9, 2014 2:23 PM in response to Lsanby Twilite2000,I Did the same thing last night. My iPad 4 is working much better. Don't get me wrong I still have some issues, but not to the degree where I want to throw my iPad into a wall anymore.

Because given the amount of devices that updated to iOS 8 without issues it is highly unlikely it is something in the update itself that can be fixed.
If people have had success with resets and restores it makes it even harder to pinpoint an actual cause that can be fixed in the update. If a restore can fix issues for many how do you separate an issue that needs fixing from a glitch that happened during installation and has nothing you can fix in the update if both produce the same effects?
You say you have tried resets, have you tried a restore?

Oct 9, 2014 2:47 PM in response to Septugenarianby Star Traveler,Apple doesn't monitor this site. You need to contact Apple Support. That's where Apple has set it up to listen to customers and to give them support ... not here!

Oct 9, 2014 3:08 PM in response to jtravislby Star Traveler,Users here are solving their issues in a myriad of ways ... so there is not just "one solution". And also -- note -- these solutions are happening without Apple making a single change to iOS 8.0.2! That, just by itself, shows observers that it's definitely NOT an iOS 8.0.2 issue that these people were dealing with.
