    Change any account passwords that you had stored on them. If you had credit card info stored insecurely, then contact the banks that issued them and ask for new cards with new numbers (as if the cards were stolen.)

     

    If you had Find My Phone enabled and iOS 7 or later installed, then the devices are locked through your Apple ID and password. Without them the device is essentially useless: Find My iPhone Activation Lock.
