Q: iOS 8.0.2 Did not fix BlueTooth issues!

I see everyone posting ways to fix this but nothing works. It may work for a short while but then goes back to unable to make or rcv calls on BlueTooth in the car.

CNN Has finally picked this issue up. Hopefully Apple will now do something ASAP! I am ready to take my phone back and get a competitors model.

It does not matter how many times you reset all settings or network settings or wipe you cars bluetooth memory or change the phone name, etc. It does not work. I have been struggling with this since launch day of iOS8. I have 2 iPhone 5's with the exact same issue and they had no such issue for 2 years before iOS 8.

For those who post things like "The reset worked for me!" I ask that you shut your phone off or do an iTunes sync or backup and then let us know how it's working. Probably no success. It will revert to the same bluetooth issue.

I am terribly upset over this. I can't believe that Apple of all companies would have such a problem. It should "JUST WORK" but it doesn't. Very sad.

I do hope something gets done this weekend because I am ready to return it and move on to something else. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Apple fan. I have a couple iPads, a MacBook Pro, Apple TV, 2 iPhone 5's, 1 iPhone 5c and an iPhone 6 now. But if this doesn't get fixed soon, I have no choice to dump my phone and move on.

The worst part is that we pay so much for a premium product and I don't expect these "amateur" issues.

Also people forget about going to your car dealership to get a bluetooth update as the Apple support people are telling everyone, including me.

So, please, Apple... Don't leave us hanging like this.

Based on previous posts and ideas,  I justed signed out of iCloud on my iPhone 6 and then removed all my Bluetooth devices. I then restarted the iPhone and then turned the iCloud back on.  I then turned off Bluetooth on iPhone and went out to the car. I removed the iPhone from my car Bluetooth settings and then turned off the ignition and then turned it back on. I then turned on my Bluetooth on my phone and then it paired successfully followe'd by making a successful test call.

now to see if it will continue to work!

Been having this problem since the IOS 8 update with my 2014 Scion TC. Such a pain in the butt! We pay for these expensive devices and can't even use the features it offers.

Please, Apple, fix this problem or i guarantee I'll be switching to a different phone!

Shame, because I really love the Apple products.

IiPhone 6 8.02 and Audi a7... The phone will connect and even stream Audio. However, phone calls are impossible as my car says no cellular connection. The phone however displays full bars and LTE. This is unacceptable, it used to work perfectly fine last week and I made no changes whatsoever.

I have 2 iPhone 6 recently bought and NONE of these work on my cars (Audi and Aston Martin) due to bluetooth issues. WHEN will they fix this problem. Also, shall we send our tickets (forbidden to call mobile while driving in Switzerland) back to apple for payments?

I have a 2013 Mini Cooper and an iPhone 5s. I cannot pair my phone with the Bluetooth system. It looks like it is pairing, then goes to a screen and says "connecting", gets stuck there, and then locks up my radio. I can't receive or make calls thru the car system, or do anything else with the radio, unless I turn Bluetooth off on my phone. Very frustrating, as I have a standard transmission.

I went into the Mini dealer yesterday, they updated the firmware (or whatever) on the radio / Bluetooth, it still does the same thing. At the dealer's, they tried it with non-iPhone phones, and other iPhones (not sure if it was 4 or 6), and it worked. Ugh.

I posted here early in thread with Bluetooth issues. After contacting AppleCare (as my phone was "loosing it" as wifi subsequently stopped working too) I was given the advice to "reset all networks settings"; the phone started to work again! Wifi logs on faster. Bluetooth clearer. phew! I've not had issues with updates since owning every iPhone prior. What a shame such angst as been caused. Steve Jobs was a perfectionist for a reason. Take note Tim Cook

Bizarrely enough, mine started to work again last week! The only thing I've done, was to turn the bluetooth on on my iPad and it now shows up under the my devices in bluetooth on my iPhone - I read this somewhere, all your devices that are in 'find iPhone' need to show under my devices. I don't know why or how, but it seems to have worked!

    But Forum "support staff" do.

Susan, the only Apple "support staff" who reply are the Community Specialists. Their remit is very narrow. They reply to posts that have gone unanswered for 24-48 hours and can be answered by links to Knowledge Base articles. The are not going to be replying in this thread.
