Q: Family Shared payment

So I setup family share but wondered how to I have my daughter or wife not use the shared credit card. My daughter has credits on your account. How does she use them?

    Hello Marinelife,

When making purchases, any iTunes credit is used before using your credit card. Check out the quoted section from the article below for more information.

    Making purchases

After you set up your family, any time a family member initiates a new purchase it will be billed directly to your account unless that family member has gift or store credit. First, their store credit will be used to pay the partial or total bill. The remainder will bill to the family organizer. As the family organizer, any receipts generated by the transaction will be sent to you. Learn more about how iTunes Store purchases are billed.

Does the credit card need to be confirmed on the child's or other family members device before the store Credit can be used.  I'm trying to make a purchase, I have credit, and my own payment method, but it keeps asking me to confirm my family organizer's 3 digit security code on their CC on the family account.
