Q: Internet dropping out at regular intervals. Macbook Pro retina Mavericks.

I have Mavericks 10.9.5 Macbook Pro Retina. The Internet drops out every 15 minutes. At 14, 29, 44, and 59 minutes past every hour. It disrupts skype calls and other online activities. It comes back on its own a minute later. Other devices do not have the same problem.

How can I rectify this. In Lehmens terms please!

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your time. Just to reiterate, the WIFI appears to be connected when the internet drops.

The problem seems to be fixed when in safe mode.

It is not effecting other devices.

Did you test long enough in safe mode to be sure that there was a difference? I'm asking about what happened while you were in safe mode, not afterwards.
