Oct 14, 2014 6:58 PM in response to Ralph Landry1by nanalex,I originally tried to ask a question about downloading the google docs app on my Ipad2 (it won't) and I got a message that said I was not allowed to add or change any content on this message and it would not allow me to post it to the community. So I tested it with this question. So does anyone know why google docs just hangs there? It shows I purchased it for another device but that did not prevent similar apps from downloading. I use several computers because of internet access limits (rural state) and need to be able to edit and create google docs from any my ipad.

Oct 14, 2014 7:33 PM in response to nanalexby Ralph Landry1,★HelpfulYes, questionable Internet service can affect downloads...downloads get broken down into packets and if those packets do not get delivered or damaged the store end may abort the transmission. If you get to a more reliable connection it should work.

Sep 27, 2016 6:36 PM in response to Zumzumlisaby Diana.McCall,Hi. First, be sure you're still logged in. There's an inactivity timeout, and preparing a post doesn't count as activity. So you can get timed out while posting. If that happens, just copy the text off the screen, login and repost. Second, Communities are organized in a tree structure. You can only post in the leaf forums, not the "folders" holding them. When it gives you a choice of where to post, you must select one. The easiest way is to start in the forum you want to post, like this one. Third, there are glitches in the software that can cause this. The solution is the same as I described above, copy your stuff and try again.
