Oct 15, 2014 3:37 AM in response to bearwoccby beniospit,Hi
Thanks for the updates, this is great news. I bought my Wireless Beats for a lot more and YES Apple should fix this ASAP.
How soon can we get this fix?

Oct 15, 2014 9:09 AM in response to beniospitby DP0350,MY fix for this was to return my Beats wireless studio and purchase a pair of Plantronics Backbeat Pro headphones. I was sick of have a pair of $350 headphones that I couldn't watch video with. For me, the Plantronics are better in every way. The controls are more intuitive, you can use siri in wireless mode, the noise canceling is way better (not quite Bose good though) and the sound is a little more realistic. They are also $100 cheaper, have a 24 hour battery life and allow 2 connections at once. I did like the Beats but after a few terrible customer service experiences and a month of no action by Beats, I decided to return my Beats before it was too late. I would highly recommend the Plantronics to anyone who is in the same situation with this audio lag. The only issue I can see for some is that they aren't the trendy headphones that all the cool celebrities are wearing. For me that was a negative for the Beats but Im sure that is important to some.

Oct 20, 2014 1:35 AM in response to jamieclarkeby bearwocc,Wow within minutes Apple took a post down that i put on because it wasnt a technical post. I was only explaining what i was going to do to try and solve this out of sync problem. So Apple here is my technical post. Ive paid £170 for a pair of Wireless Beats when will you fix the out of sync problem? This problem doesnt occur with other manufacturers wireless headphones that are alot cheaper so fix it.

Oct 20, 2014 8:02 AM in response to bearwoccby beniospit,Hi guys, just wanted to let you know that the issue is non existent on the iPhone 6 Plus... This is great news I guess although the issue persists on the iPhone 5S and iPad Air... Maybe the issue is fixed on the iPad Air 2 too?

Oct 20, 2014 8:31 AM in response to beniospitby DP0350,I experienced this problem on: iPad Air, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6+. All running iOS8. Sometimes the lag was reduced but eventually it went right back to 1-2 seconds.

Oct 20, 2014 11:50 AM in response to bearwoccby jamieclarke,I have just updated my iPhone and iPad Air to iOS 8.1 and remarkably the sound is in sync on both! I have tried Sky Go, Videos and Flixster and all are fine. Sky Go had been the worst in terms of delay but now they are all perfect (for now!). I hope this is the same for everyone who is affected.

Oct 28, 2014 3:14 AM in response to jamieclarkeby clifton_icloud,After updating to Yosemite on my 2 month old Macbook Pro and OS 8.1 on my iPhone and iPad Air, audio sync is spot on. I'm pleased I waited as I was beginning to regret my purchase.

Nov 8, 2014 4:49 AM in response to jamieclarkeby stone.darrel,Hey Jamie,
Im running Yosemite OSX and just picked up a pair of beats studio wireless. The video is out of sync with the audio on mine too. Total disappointment.
but I got mine to sync a bit better on my laptop by holding down the option key, switch to internal speakers, let it play for a second on the laptop speaker then repating same step and switch it to your headphones.
It should sync much better. There is a slight lag still but no where near what I was experiencing.
hope this helps.

Nov 8, 2014 1:44 PM in response to jamieclarkeby borisbobix,I have this issue too... £170 earphones should be in sync with videos. When is Apple going to fix this ????

Nov 9, 2014 4:52 AM in response to stone.darrelby jamieclarke,I haven't had any issues with my iMac, just iOS devices. I noticed the other day that Netflix is still out of sync but all other video apps are OK still.

Nov 9, 2014 5:36 AM in response to jamieclarkeby clifton_icloud,Agreed, issue seems to have been resolved on Yosemite for a few weeks now, it would seem that it's now just an iOS issue. I took the liberty of testing it on my wife's HTC M8 and it's absolutely fine, so come on apple, this really isn't good enough! I use my iPad Air predominantly for watching video and it's now rendered useless. If it's not solved soon I may be taking a trip to the Apple Store and requesting a refund on my iPad Air and my Powerbeats 2 earphones.
Extremely disappointed!

Nov 9, 2014 6:48 AM in response to clifton_icloudby DP0350,If you otherwise like the iPad, you may want to try another brand of headphones. I had the same problem, returned the Beats and got a pair of the new Plantronics BeatPros. The audio sync is perfect and I honestly like them better in everyday vs the Beats Wireless. I don't know if they make something equivalent to the Powerbeats however. But for me the issue was 100% solved by ditching the Beats. The combination of terrible customer service and lag issues going unaddressed for months just turned me off to the whole product. Hopefully Apple makes some serious changes
