Is there a way to cancel an app purchase if it was a mistake?

iPad, iOS 7.0.2

All purchases are considered final, but you can try the 'report a problem' link to contact iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

 

If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

    Yes, I noticed depending on which problem you select from the drop down menu determines how quickly your issue will get resolved.  I made an errant purchase and when I selected that option, it told me my request could not be processed and that I needed to contact iTunes support.  Which probably means I will have to fight to get my money back.  I really hope they work with me on this one.  Fingers crossed.
