Oct 17, 2014 5:57 PM in response to shadowlowby Loner T,★HelpfulYosemite upgrade has more than likely changed the partitions (especially Recovery) and this will cause problems.
I suggest starting a separate thread and posting the the output (using OS X Terminal) of
diskutil list
diskutil cs list
sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0
sudo fdisk /dev/disk0
Enter you password when prompted.

Oct 17, 2014 9:00 PM in response to Loner Tby adios83,Hi Loner T
thank you for your response
However please help me understand your reply.
Do you mean
1) open osx terminal and
2) type "diskutil list" (minus quotes) and then copy+paste what comes up?
3) repeat step 2 for all of the above?

Can you let me know if this was done correctly?

Oct 18, 2014 8:24 AM in response to adios83by Loner T,★HelpfulYes, this was done correctly.
Instead of repeating the steps that you need, can you look at "Missing Operating system_ " After installing Yosemite and start the Testdisk discovery process.
You are missing about 30+ GB which is the gap between GPT#3 and GPT#4 in your GPT output.
