Oct 19, 2014 10:31 AM in response to TheRonin612by Wesley Chilton,I'm having the same problem with my bluetooth since upgrading to Yosemite. I have a MBP mid-2009 and a Bose Soundlink Mini. I get significant lag and a lot of skips and sputters when hitting the CPU using other programs. Its REALLY bad when using Firefox and playing iTunes in the background. Even worse when trying to stream audio from Youtube or other video over bluetooth.
I never had ANY issues under Mavericks.
And I still have that **** irritating iTunes autolaunch when disconnecting the Soundlink Mini from bluetooth.
Come on Apple, fix this buggy stuff. >: |

Oct 19, 2014 2:08 PM in response to Mabauwelby j-m-d,did I miss it, have the Apple gurus chimed in on any of the several threads that are complaining about BT issues ??? This seems to be effect many people, and some wisdom would be welcomed ........ or an acknowledgment of the problem

Oct 19, 2014 2:11 PM in response to mommuby waynefromcrosswicks,I'm at least happy to see that this isn't an isolated problem that I'm having. I tried both my Kinivo BTH240 and older Motorola 305 headphones. Both started delaying within a few minutes. Hopefully Apple addresses this soon.

Oct 19, 2014 4:02 PM in response to mommuby rashadsays,Same issue. Early 2011 MacBook Pro, Bose SoundLink III... works fine for a few seconds, then starts to lag severely. If I hit pause on a video, the audio carries on for 4 seconds before it cuts off.

Oct 19, 2014 5:36 PM in response to mommuby readytorun, the only solution i have found so far - which is not suitable - is to keep emptying my cache with this program called CleanApp. I'm sure there are similar programs that perform the same function...it seems like the cache builds up much quicker on Yosemite , or something, and when i empty it the problem becomes slightly less intrusive. ill be watching a movie and on the internet and listening to iTunes and things will go wack, if i continously throw out built up cache every 2 hours, the problem (rate of delay) gets better. but not fixed by any means.
i feel sorry for those who use their computer for work how this bluetooth problem will affect them. this is unacceptable.

Oct 19, 2014 7:03 PM in response to mommuby thinkcodenyc,Definitely, I'm updating the report with a link to this thread. I mentioned that people were discussing it on the forums, but a link would probably be more convincing.
