Q: find my friends not working with friends located outside my country

I Cannot share my location or see my friends location using find my friends because they live in other countries and their app store is not the same as mine(usa).

 

 

I can understand you cannot share apps or itunes purchases with your family if their apps store or itunes store are not the same as your, however I CANNOT understand why we cannot share locations in find my friends application, apparently for the same reason.

 

If I am wrong please let me know how can I include my friends leaving and belonging to apple stores different than my us store.and be included i nFind my friend

    Hi Csaladen,

     

    Find My Friends may not be available in all countries, due to technical limitations or local law. If your friends are in such a country you would not be able to use this feature to locate them. See this article -

    my wife and i live in venezuela and we have our apple accounts in Usa. one of may sons live in venezuela also and has a UK

    account, and the other lives in spain and has a Spain account. I coul only setup find my friends with my wife.

    My Find My Friends app no longer shows my friends and when I try to add them, it gives me a "Find My Friends is unavailable due to server error."  I've tried rebooting my iPhone. I've logged in and out of iCloud multiple times.  It no longer functions.  Any ideas?
