Oct 19, 2014 4:53 PM in response to Tim in Tucsonby Tim in Tucson,Just retried the Epson, and now it's working. That's a 6+ year old printer. It's a CX 9400fax.
Still no luck on the Canon.

Oct 19, 2014 5:32 PM in response to Tim in Tucsonby John Blanchard1,I think the dclfilter is from Canon, and that sandbox error is causing the problem. Canon will have to update its driver. What kind of Canon printer are you using? Thank you.

Oct 19, 2014 8:15 PM in response to Johnny46by Tim in Tucson,Canon responded...
Thank you for contacting Canon product support. I understand that you are are unable to print to your imageCLASS MF3010. I will be glad to provide information from Canon regarding the new Mac operating system.
Canon has not yet posted updated OS X Yosemite v10.10 drivers for this model. On behalf of Canon, I apologize that this is an inconvenience to you. When the new drivers do become available, you can download them from this web address.
I do not have an estimate or time period when the drivers will be posted because Canon has not released information. They will likely post the laser printer drivers without announcing them. They have already posted updated drivers for the inkjet printers.
Please let me know if you have other concerns or feedback regarding your imageCLASS MF3010.
Regards,
David

Oct 19, 2014 11:21 PM in response to Robert36340by marcomarchant,Hi,
Went to work this morning and could not print to the Windows network Printers. I decided to:
1. Reinstall just one and it worked.
2. I thought about Resetting the Printer System but I did not want to reinstall all the printers. So I went to the next option.
3. Repair Permissions. It worked. Now all printers work. But...
I now cannot install a printer I deleted form the list. the "Add" button is greyed out. Anyone else experiencing this?

Oct 20, 2014 9:05 AM in response to Robert36340by dghess,I am trying to print on a Xerox 7845 and having the same issues. It says the "printer is out of paper" but isn't. Reinstalled, etc. still same problem. Downloaded the updated drivers as well. Could it have to do with my offices standard print accounting?

Oct 20, 2014 9:17 AM in response to Robert36340by Namarillo,I'm having problems with the works network printer, a Ricoh Aficio MP C2050. I used PXL drivers and it works fine in Mountain Lion and Mavericks.... but after the update it doesn't work. I send a printing work in the Mac and all appears to be ok, but nothing happens in the printer.
I've tried uninstalling drivers and installing it again.

Oct 20, 2014 12:08 PM in response to John Blanchard1by Namarillo,Nope, no error messages. When I send a printing job the printer queue window opens, sent the file and close without any error or message, nevertheless the printer does nothing.
The error_log in cups is empty.
The next text is on access_log for a test I've done.

Oct 20, 2014 12:17 PM in response to Robert36340by linda m.fromupnorth,After upgrading to OS X Yosemite I too have printing problems. My printer is Kodak ESP5250. I have wireless connection. I can print a test page but cannot print from my Air Mac. I have tried all the suggestions.... I get the message there is a problem at the printer. The log says something about the filter and has sandbox in it??? Any answers?
