Oct 1, 2014 4:30 AM in response to Christophebxlby Jastect,Sounds like my problem. On my phone, my child's id comes up and there is no way to change it. I log onto icloud on my pc and it's still there with no way to change it. I managed to add my own account but her id is still permanently on my phone and I can't put in her password because I don't know it. If you find out any answers, please post them! Good luck!

In order to edit an Child Apple Id you can just go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and log as your daughter and edit all data (except id itself and birthdate). This is possible only if you know the password :-) even without knowing, the recovery procedure is working fine.
In my case:
- I created an Child apple ID (as described in Family Sharing and Apple IDs for kids), child is -13y
- As mentioned in Leave Family Sharing : "Children under 13 can't be removed from a family. If you need to, you can transfer the child to another family or delete their Apple ID". ok, fair enough. Then I want to delete the id... But I cannot find where the delete option is available ???
Hopefully someone can help.

Oct 20, 2014 8:51 AM in response to Christophebxlby StephBash,I had to call to manually have the child account removed. However, I still can't get them to remove the Family Sharing. I can't turn it off on my iPhone 6 Plus. I've been calling for a couple of weeks. It's very frustrating.

Oct 20, 2014 8:54 AM in response to StephBashby StephBash,The representative told me they were all still learning about Family Sharing and that the tech department would have to work on it and get back with me. I was never called back. I keep calling the rep's extension (at least 3 messages over 3 weeks) and leaving messages with my case number but my representative won't return my phone call. I'm now on a 15 minute hold to try to get someone new to help me.

I've been trough the very same story. Looks like removal is just impossible.
I'll call again on my side and see if I finally receive a feedback.
