Oct 16, 2014 11:29 AM in response to spap2by rocketgary,I'm kind of in the same boat. My company uses SharePoint as it's intranet site and after they upgraded everyone to the iPhone 6 last week nobody can access the site. What I've been having people do is install the Chrome browser and then I explain that when they receive an email with a link to our site they need to press and hold the link until the option to copy pops. I tell them to copy then open Chrome, press and hold the address bar, then hit paste. kind of clunky but it works.

Oct 16, 2014 11:38 PM in response to rocketgaryby spap2,My case is exactly the same (Sharepoint and Workflows) but I wanted to be more specific,
just to clarify that the problem is away from "things" unknown to apple staff .
I did inform all that the procedure is as you mention but you know if users learn something that they like,
there is no easy way to change it unless you give them something better!
This is a serious business case and not bells and whistles.
I hope they will fix it in 8.1 (as Dave said).

Oct 17, 2014 9:42 AM in response to spap2by Dave Friesen,I heard back from a couple of my sources, including someone within Apple. This has been raised but I can't confirm if it will be part of the 8.1 release.

Oct 20, 2014 11:20 PM in response to Dave Friesenby spap2,I've installed iOS 8.1 yesterday on my iPhone 5s
It does not work.
I found though the following workaround .
- The first time I connect to the site, I just press login without credentials.
- The site responds with <401 UNAUTHORIZED> (it may look like a white screen to you but if you drag it down a little you will see it)
- Then I make a refresh to connect again to the site.
- I apply username and password and this time it WORKS !!!
This is the only way to make it function, as it would.
This still happens with safari, not other browsers.

Nov 13, 2014 8:56 AM in response to spap2by scooter133,We have been trying to troubleshoot this issue for some time. We have noticed that there are differences when we use LTE vs, WiFi. chrome mostly works, though there are times when chrome does a post it also failed witha 401, though repost back with an invalid verb on the page.
it almost seems like that safari is seen as multiple requests from different clients and the server is authenticating each request. That might make sense over LTE as provider might be switching the source port of the connection and the server might see it as a new connection.

Feb 16, 2016 10:49 AM in response to scooter133by sjf_ia,I see this thread hasn't seen any activity for some time, but was hoping there has been a break through for this issue for safari/chrome on ios 8 and 9 users? We are running 2013 sharepoint, 2012 r2, iis8.5 with windows authentication required. Any work around would also be welcome!
