Oct 20, 2014 5:22 PM in response to Desmond Limby JenniferPan32,Nothing working. Changed name of computer, no dice. This is not a small bug--it's a major oversight. How does this happen at Apple? Why is Apple not issuing instructions? Glad I did not upgrade all my computers. Better wait until they actually release a professional product.

Oct 20, 2014 5:38 PM in response to JenniferPan32by dalmike04,Tell me about it. I moved from windows because of this crap! If I'm going to put up with this sort of stuff I should go back. A **** of a lot cheaper!

Oct 20, 2014 6:23 PM in response to Desmond Limby rjchaney,I had to reboot the router from my ISP in order for the library to reappear after the upgrade.

Oct 20, 2014 7:58 PM in response to Desmond Limby JenniferPan32,Fixed. Did several things...but I suspect that my real problem was that in the upgrade the Macbook Air shifted to my guest network, thus blocking the AppleTV from view. Changing to the home network seems to have been the key. I also checked the AppleTV update (already up to date), changed the name of the computer, and did various reboots. Noting fancy, did not reset the AppleTV.

Oct 20, 2014 11:30 PM in response to LordSparkyby hilt_ctn,I had the issue where Music and Photos would show and stream fine. But Movies / Home Movies were missing. Here's what worked for me.
The App Store was showing an iTunes update which refused to download. So I manually downloaded the update and installed. After that, Movies / Home Movies reappeared and streamed as usual

Oct 21, 2014 2:28 AM in response to Desmond Limby nicvlaeminck,I'm having the same problem. Home sharing works fine on iPhone and iPad. On Apple TV only music works. Video keeps loading, but never runs.

Oct 21, 2014 2:52 PM in response to nicvlaeminckby Elvis2001,Thanks to those earlier who suggested the following:
Go to System Preferences on your Mac
Click Sharing
Change your Computer Name
Once I did this everything appeared on Apple TV
Getting a bit sick of having to check these threads to sort out problems that Apple should have addressed before releasing updates that don't work!!

Was able to watch video and air-play.
This is my first issue with my ATV. Usually it's a true soldier.
