Oct 19, 2014 6:01 PM in response to Sekeyby LarryHN,two thoughts
1 - update to iPhoto 9.6 for full Yosemite campatibility
2 - RAW is supported at the OS level - as Far as I know the latest support list is here OS X Mavericks: Supported digital camera RAW formats- there is no place to download specific updates - when they are released you install them
You can make suggestion stop Apple - iPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback

Oct 19, 2014 6:03 PM in response to Sekeyby Old Toad,It this a new camera? Have you been able to import RAW from this camera before? It's not listed in OS X Mavericks: Supported digital camera RAW formats. You'll have to wait until Apple releases a RAW compatibility updater for that camera.
In the mean time you an either just shoot the highest quality jpeg with the camera or try to use the Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Macintosh to convert the files to DNG which iPhoto recognizes.
Note: due to problems with the forum's software your screenshot is not displaying. It happens frequently

Oct 20, 2014 11:20 PM in response to Sekeyby léonie,★Helpfulthere are not many Fuji Cameras supported:
Fujifilm
- FinePix S2 Pro
- FinePix S3 Pro
- FinePix S5 Pro
- FinePix X100**
- X-Pro1***
- X-A1***
- X-E1***
- X-E2***
- X-M1***
- X-T1***
- X20***
- X100S***
In addition to the Adobe DNG Converter you might consider to use the photo software provided by the Fuji with the camera to convert the RAWto a supported lossless format like TIFF. Usually this will give the best results for RAW developing, because the manufacturer knows the camera best.

Oct 22, 2014 8:24 PM in response to Sekeyby Line Iannicelli,Hello,
Since I installed Yosemite last weekend (and latest iPhoto upgrade), I cannot upload photos from my Nikon D610 NEF (RAW) format. Every time I have tried to upload -either by connecting the camera with the cable or by inserting the memory card in the Macbook- iPhoto starts to idle when I click "import photos". Beach ball appears and after several minutes iPhoto crashes. I use a Macbook Pro 2.8Ghz, intel core i7, 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 (late 2011). I even tried doing it one by one... same problem.
Is this a problem that Apple is going to solve: NEF or RAW compatibility with iPhoto and Nikon files? Does anyone know how long for this to get fixed by Apple? I have hundreds of photos in my memory card to upload and work with.
Everything was working perfectly before Yosemite.
Thank you.

Oct 22, 2014 11:08 PM in response to Line Iannicelliby Terence Devlin,There are a significant number of folks on the forum reprint issues with NEFs right now. and there seems to be an issue with the Raw support in 10.10. For myself, my NEFs from my D5200 import and perform normally. This thread on the Aperture forum has a suggestion that's worth trying:
RAW files suddenly show up as "not supported" (Aperture 3.5.1, OS X 10.10)

Photos for MacI don't know if I speak for the othesr but try using a larger font with a more contrasty color for your next post. These old eyes have a very difficult time reading this post. But since Terence is such a young whippersnapper he's got much better eyes than I and can read and answer that post.
