Q: Can you connect older 27" LED Display to current iMacs?
Hi - finding conflicting information via Apple support pages and google and wanted to throw this out to the community for verification.
My endstate is to run dual 27" LEDs...one being on a current iMac and the other being a first-generation Apple 27" LED.
Can you connect a first-generation Apple 27" LED display utilizing the min-display port to the current 27" iMac (non 5K) utilizing the Thunderbolt port? If so - is it a simple Thunderbolt-to-Thunderbolt cable or is there an adapter on the mini-display side required? Thanks!

You can use either a Thunderbolt or Mini DisplayPort cable. No adapter is needed.
