Q: Touch ID iPhone 5S Failed

Hello , i have an iPhone 5S , and i have a problem with Touch ID.

When i had iOS 7.1.2 , Touch ID wasn't even showing in settings , it said only passcode , and since i updated to iOS 8 , Touch ID appears in settings , but when i want to turn on iPhone Unlock or iTunes&AppStore and put my finger , it says "Failed , Unable to complete Touch ID setup.Please go back and try again." and i tried a lot of times and still not working..

Can you please help?

I still have the same issue on my phone, though I haven't tried to reset it yet because the issue might only be the same. Anyways, did something happen to your phone before the touch ID option was gone on iOS 7.1.2, like dropping it or anything that might trigger to hardware issue? As I'm thinking that this could be cause by a faulty sensor already But I never dropped my phone though.

Wot is wrong with Apple ??? Seriouslyy its been days i have been resetting and doing backups of phne to restore TouchID Functionality but still no result.

Hey Apple Guys resolve this issue soon...

There are no "Apple Guys" here, only other users. If restores and resets have not fixed the problem you likely have a hardware problem so return it to where you bought it and have the phone examined.

They ran some diagnostic tests and said its some hardware related issue and got no solution yet !anyone got a chance to overcome this issue ?

This is hardware related issue ?? I dnt think so... Coz whenever this happens i reset netwrok settings and it starts working again....

Whatever it is.... it must be resolved soon
