Oct 24, 2014 5:30 AM in response to mdcoleyby léonie,The currently sold version of Aperture at the AppStore, Aperture 3.6 is compatible with Yosemite.
See the Release notes: Aperture 3.6 Release notes
If you are running any version of Aperture 3, you should be able to update to this version. Does the update not show for you?
The update has been shown automatically for those who had upgraded from Mavericks and been running Aperture 3.5.1. Other users, who skipped Mavericks and Aperture 3.5.1 have reported problems to get the update to show and needed to contact the AppStore Support. The update did not show, if the users tried to update from an earlier version.

Jun 10, 2015 5:24 AM in response to mdcoleyby woodsdvw,I Live in the UK and have today updated to aperture 3.6. My method can be found in many threads on this forum and was very simple.
1. Check appstore purchases to ensure aperture is there.
2. Logout of the AppStore
3. Move aperture 3.5.1 to the trash do not delete.
4. Restart mac
5. Open App Store and go to purchases
6. Aperture should now show an install button. Press the install button
7. Aperture 3.6 should now install
CHeck it works then empty the trashed copy
JOb done !
