When you go to Settings > Notification Center, what do the settings for each app say? It sounds like they are turned off and you would need to change them to what you want. If they are right, then I would reset all the settings on your iPhone to put them back to it’s default with erasing the data on your iPhone. You can do that at Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

Oct 24, 2014 9:39 AM in response to norm123by Lawlord10,Hi norm123,
My settings were all fine. Luckily because my phone was so new, I got through to applecare. They suggested the same as you - so I nervously tried to reset all settings but this resulted in my phone starting some kind of death cycles reboot loop (I have heard of this happening more today). The phone had to be hard rebooted through iTunes and I set it up as a new phone rather than restoring the old phone stuff (what a pain this was). Anyway - all seems ok now. Thank you for your suggestions though.

Oct 24, 2014 11:04 AM in response to norm123by freddiespaghetti,Resetting iPhone Settings did not work for me. I have even gone into each item in the notifications list in Settings->General->Notifications, turned off all of the green dots, rebooted, turned them all back on again and I am still not receiving notifications. Except Facebook and Messages (texts)
