Q: FCP 7 and Yosemite?

Will FCP 7 and other Final Cut Studio 3 (Motion, Compressor, Soundtrack, DVDSP4) programs work in Yosemite?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

I am currently running Mavericks (10.9.5) and FCP 7 & DVDSP4, etc. without a problem.

I upgraded to Yosemite and haven't had a problem.

To be clear: you are saying that you haven't had a problem with FCP 7 or any of the other programs such as DVDSP4?

I thought the Qmaster Preference Pane for Compressor in FCS3 was broken in Mavericks, requiring either use of Terminal or switching to Compressor 4.

You are correct. The code to run the Qmaster preference pane is incompatible with 10.9. Nothing in 10.10 fixed this problem.

but I have motion 4.0.3 error. Motion 4.0.3 not working since yosemite upgrade

It says "you can't use this version of the application motion"

Yes, I've been reading that Motion 4.0.3 and Compressor 3.5.3 don't run but FCP 7 and DVDSP4 are good on Yosemite (10.10).
