Oct 29, 2014 3:51 AM in response to gchan19by Todd Hurley1,Hi there,
I am having the exact same problem, only I'm trying to register my iPad 2 from 2010. I too didn't realize that I hadn't registered the product. I normally register everything I buy from Apple right away. How can it be registered to another Apple ID? I only have one Apple ID, and I've had it since 2002, possibly earlier. Have you had any kind of resolution to this issue?
Cheers
~ todd

Oct 29, 2014 4:01 AM in response to Todd Hurley1by debbiebus,I resolved mine by calling the Support. They will do it for you. They told me the device was registered under my name, but under a different apple id- something i cannot even remember.

I really appreciate you getting back to me so quickly! I guess I will call in to support as well. Did they charge you for the inconvenience this has caused?
Thank you so much for passing on your resolution, I really appreciate it!
Kindest regards,

Oct 29, 2014 4:39 AM in response to Todd Hurley1by debbiebus,Hey Todd,
Oh no not at all.. Im pretty sure they will be more than happy to help you. I believe they will let you talk to the Technical Support Specialist but it wont really take long.
I was actually hesitant to call them coz I read on one forum that you gotta go to power mac and show proof that its yours by showing some invoice - I find that too stressful lol. But yeah, im sure they will do it for you.
