BTW, Thanks for Replying to my original!

BTW, We (wife Wanda & I) are going to upgrade to the latest version 5 iPhone. Do you have any suggestions (she is technically challenged)? I hope to merge exchange contacts between hers and mine!

Then it is very possible that you do not have the latest version of iTunes loaded on the computer. It is required to support the latest version of iOS.

As far as upgrading, then I would consider a different device. The iPhone 5 is restricted as to the storage size, since it is already 2 generations old. The iPhone 5s is just under the devices recently released ( 6 & 6plus). You probably would not be able to find a new iPhone 5. Also, Exchange contacts would only be able to be merged if the owner of the Exchange account would allow that. Unless you both work for the same employer.

Sir, Thanks for Replying so Promptly!

I believe it is 5s & my wireless provider assures me it would be new & unused. Besides I did not want a major upgrade to a larger one for various reasons.

Besides unless the owner is other than myself (I pay the bills) or my wife or the wireless provider, no problem with "if the owner of the Exchange account would allow that"! Am I correct on the owner? Answering iTunes version, it was the latest that I originally complained about!

I'm not talking about who owns the phone. It is that Exchange accounts are generally employer accounts. With that, the Exchange Account Administrator has control of the account. But this is not the place to debate that, since that really was not germane to your original question about the iPhone 5.

Without more information about your Exchange accounts I can't give specific advice, but your can set up 2 Exchange accounts, and for each one select what you want to sync (Mail, contacts, calendars, tasks, notes). So you could install each other's Exchange accounts and turn on only Contacts if you don't want or need the other Exchange services.

BTW, my wife's name is Wanda also.
