Oct 29, 2014 2:31 PM in response to Golbornemanby Star Traveler,You might try resetting your iPad 2 to its factory default condition, by using iTunes ... AND ... not restoring your backup just yet. Test it out in factory fresh condition, to see if everything is working okay. Then after you verify it, see what happens when you restore it with your own data. Some people have found problems with their own data, that has caused problems, and some apps, too. So, if that turns out to be the case that it works okay without your data, and then it isn't working with your data ... then you know the problem resides somewhere in your data. Maybe it's an app, as some have reported.
But, in the following links, it tells you about doing your backups, and then the last link tells about how to reset to factory default using your iTunes program. And again, do so without restoring your backups just yet.

Oct 30, 2014 7:29 AM in response to Golbornemanby Star Traveler,Okay, then a few questions. Was the reset back to a clean machine with everything erased on it done with the device itself or was it done with the iTunes program. It can be erased those two different ways, so that's why I ask.
And then, when there was none of your data or your apps on it, did it run okay, or were there some problems? And if there were problems when running without your data on there, what were those specific problems?
